Preferred Route Announcement Leaflet
M5 Junction 10 Announcement of Preferred Route (16/6/21)
As you will be aware, in autumn 2020 Gloucestershire County Council held an options consultation to gather feedback on the M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme proposals. We’re grateful to everyone who provided feedback on our proposed scheme.
We are now pleased to be able to share an update on the progress of the scheme through the release of our preferred route announcement. This is a public announcement of the preferred scheme option that will be progressed to the next stage of design, following extensive technical work and initial public consultation.
You can find out the details of this announcement in our preferred route announcement leaflet and supporting materials, available on our website: www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/J10<http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/J10>. The leaflet explains how we’ve taken on board your feedback and presents our rationale for making any changes to the scheme since the consultation. The leaflet also provides some information about what happens next with the scheme.
If you would like to discuss any elements of the preferred route announcement leaflet or the wider scheme in more detail, please let me know and I can arrange a virtual presentation similar to the one provided last year.
As always, we welcome your engagement as the scheme continues to progress. Please feel free to contact me directly or the wider team via email (M5Junction10@atkinsglobal.com<mailto:M5Junction10@atkinsglobal.com>).
